Question: What is the Difference Between Class A Stock and Class B Stock?
Answer: Some companies will issue two classes of stock when the go public. Class A shares go to the public as common stock, which carry one vote per share.

The company founders may issue themselve class B stock, which has 10 votes per share, thus guaranteeing that they will retain control of the company.
