Growth Is Only Reason to Invest in Stocks

Growth in earnings, growth in price per share, growth in dividends or all of the above represent good reasons to invest in a company. If a company shows little potential for growth, there is not much reason to own it (unless it pays a fat dividend). Even value investors count on the market ultimately bidding up the per-share price for profits. Your job is to look into the future for companies that will still be growing.
