Balancing Bonds and Dividend Paying Stocks

Many dividend paying stocks are more attractive than bonds in the low-interest environment. Maybe it's time to switch to dividend-paying stocks instead. They are more attractive, but carry a larger risk than similar bonds do. What to do?
