Glad November is Over

Stocks had a good week to end the month but still November was another disaster: Dow down 5 percent, S&P down 7 percent and the Nasdaq off 11 percent.

Still, an up week was nice.

Wish it were the sign of more to come, but even with upbeat coverage of the Obama economic team and plans for a stimulus, there are more rough times ahead.

It is unlikely the market or the economy will begin to stabilize until something is done about the snowballing rate of foreclosures.

There are some good ideas to address the problems, but so far none have been put into wide distribution.

What are they waiting for?
