Markets Register a Big Bounce

The stock markets roared back Tuesday with record gains in the Dow - it was the second largest one-day gain in history.

The markets are still very susceptible to wild swings and profit-takers may want to rake some chips off the table Wednesday.

The other wild card (to continue a weak poker analogy) is the Fed announcement expected Wednesday afternoon.

Will they cut just one-half a point or boldly slash three-quarters point?

It will be an interesting test of the Feds tattered influence.
