How to Invest a Tax Refund or Rebate

If you are due a tax refund this year, there are two things you need to do. One will help prevent lending the government interest-free money and the other will suggest some ideas of how to invest your return of capital.

This advice applies to tax rebates, a bonus from your employer or any other lump sum of money you receive.

My wife heard on the news that about 2/3 of the money is not being spent! That includes us. Investing is one path, another is reducing (eliminating!?) plastic debt, which for those with this disease is probably the best path. Spending it is a foul ball in this game.
