Dogs of the Dow in the Doghouse

The “Dogs of the Dow” is one of the most popular “mechanical” investing techniques. The Dogs technique takes all of the research, strategy, and guesswork out of investing. Surprisingly, the strategy works more times than not. As we get close to the end of the year, the "Dogs" are badly lagging the Dow.
